Jesse Heinig Jesse Heinig is someone that has done a lot of stuff we as gamers are thankful for, but may not know it. He is a writer for STO, and has worked on many other video games and board games such as Fallout, Dying Kingdoms, Mage, and Mind’s Eye Theater. His work even brought me much personal enjoyment prior to STO with his work on White Wolf’s World of Darkness tabletop games. He has done so much work in this industry that we should be thankful for, and now we can help give back to him. Jesse was recently misdiagnosed several times and had several surgeries before finally being diagnosed with Streptococcus. This usually causes what most of us know as Strep Throat, but when it infects other parts of the body the results can be disastrous. In Jesse’s case it essentially ate away a good chunk out of his leg and he has had multiple surgeries to remove the infected tissue and to make sure that it wasn’t spreading anymore. Thankfully he is now on the mend but it will be a very long process. Several of his friends started up a donation campaign to help raise money for all of Jesse’s medical expenses on chipin.com We here at Tribbles in Ecstasy would like to wish Jesse the best, and are passing around the link to thischipin.com page for those who would like to help Jesse financially.http://pascalekrieger.chipin.
